OMAA Partnerships

It takes a Village....

to support Ontario CAOs and Aspiring CAOs! OMAA is proud to acknowledge partnerships with the following:

Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO)

AMO works to make municipal governments stronger and more effective. AMO supports and enhances strong and effective municipal government in Ontario. It promotes the value of the municipal level of government as a vital and essential component of Ontario and Canada's political system.

Of particular importance is the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between AMO and the Province. The MOU provides the opportunity for municipal input and reaction to provincial policy ideas (pre-consultation) so that they are fully informed as part of any provincial policy making process.

OMAA and AMO work collaboratively on advocacy, annual student bursary, workforce development, and the Mayor-CAO Webinar series.

Feed Ontario

From securing fresh and healthy food sources, to driving change through policy research and innovative programming, Feed Ontario unites food banks, industry partners, and local communities in our work to end hunger and poverty.
Join us as we Feed Ontario and help build a healthier province. Every $1 raised provides 2 meals to an Ontarian in need.

Feed Ontario is OMAA's official charity of choice.

The Municipal Engineers Association (MEA)

The Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) is an association of public sector Professional Engineers in the full-time employment of Ontario municipalities performing the various functions that comprise the field of municipal engineering.  EITs employed by municipalities, Professional Engineers employed by a branch of the Federal/Provincial Governments or related municipal organizations and Consultants acting as the engineer-of-record on behalf of a municipality are also eligible for Associate membership.

OMAA and MEA work collaboratively on workforce development and educational content.

OMAA and MFOA work collaboratively on advocacy, workforce development, and services related to our workshop delivery.
